Entries for the Lurcher Shows are taken near the Dog Show Ring on the field from 9am.
Judging will commence at 11am.
Rosettes are awarded for 1st to 5th place and prizes are provided by Skinners, who sponsor all of our Dog Shows
The Lurcher show is NOT subject to Kennel Club Regulations.
Class 1 Dog Puppy - 6 to 12 months old
Class 2 Bitch Puppy - 6 to 12 months old
Class 3 Champion Puppy from Classes 1 and 2
Class 4 Smooth Dog under 23"
Class 5 Smooth Bitch under 23"
Class 6 Rough Dog under 23"
Class 7 Rough Bitch under 23"
Class 8 Smooth Dog over 23"
Class 9 Smooth Bitch over 23"
Class 10 Rough Dog over 23"
Class 11 Rough Bitch over 23"
Class 12 Veteran (over 7 years)
Class 13 Sight Hounds
Class 14 Best Coursing Dog or Bitch
Class 15 Best Rabbiting Dog or Bitch
Class 16 Pairs (mix or match)
Class 17 Child Handler (5 to 15 years)
Class 18 Supreme Champion for 1st placed dogs in Classes 4 to 11
The Simulated Coursing takes place in the Main Ring and is a very popular event - with the dogs, owners and audience alike.
Entries are taken on the day next to the Control Bus; make sure that you enter your Lurcher or Longdog to take part in this exhilarating spectacle. In fact whatever type of dog you have, all breeds are welcome to take part.

Located in front of Frampton Court.
The Lurcher Racing will start at 3pm.
All Lurchers must be muzzled for racing.
If you want to enter please make your way to the track just before 3pm.
