FAQs

Accessibility

We have tried to make The Country Fair as accessible as possible to visitors with disabilities. However, visitors should take into consideration the terrain of the site and how the weather conditions may affect the ability to get around.

Car parking area is provided for Blue Badge holders in the car park on a first come first served basis and you will be directed to this area if you display your blue badge so that it can be clearly seen in your car window. On entering the car parks, please ensure that the car parking staff are aware that you hold a Blue Badge and you will be directed to the appropriate area. Please note car parking is on grass.

There are numerous toilet blocks situated around the showground which include disabled facilities.


Carers

Essential Carer Ticket Scheme

Essential Carers Tickets are offered free of charge and are only valid when accompanying a registered disabled person with a FULL PRICE ticket. Evidence of your carer status must be provided at the ticket office and these tickets are only available on the day. 

All applications require evidence of essential carers status. Please bring at least one of the following documents (printed or scanned copies are acceptable);

  • Middle or Higher Rate DLA for care and/or mobility
  • Evidence of being of being severely sight-impaired
  • Recognised assistance dog ID card
  • Receipt of personal independence payment (PIP)

Please note being a blue badge holder does not qualify as proof of carer status.


Cash

There will be NO ATMs on the Showground. However many of our Traders take Credit and Debit Cards as well as cash, so if you preference is to use cash, make sure you bring some along on the day.


Control Bus

If you have any questions on the day or need help of any sort please do pay a visit to the Control Bus! Supplied kindly by Smiths Waste Management, the Control Bus is located immediately next to the Main Ring. Here one of our marvellous volunteers will be on hand to do their very best to assist you.


Dogs

Well behaved dogs with their responsible owners are very welcome to Frampton Country Fair. Please keep your dog on a fixed lead at all times and please do not leave animals in unattended vehicles.

Please ensure you have bags to dispose of any mess. Should you need a bag we will have spare on the Control Bus; please come and pick one up should you or your dog be caught short


Emergency Contacts

In the event of an Emergency please alert any member of the Team on the Control Bus located overlooking the Main Ring as soon as it is safe to do so. There will be a Mobile Police Unit on the Showground and they can be called on to assist if required.


First Aid and Medical Assistance

You will find St John Ambulance adjacent to the Control Bus overlooking the Main Ring. They will be on hand throughout the day providing advanced first aid facilities.


Food and Drink

Refreshment Courts are available in both the North and South end of the Showground. As well as this there are specialist local food providers in the Food Avenue, Farmer’s Market and the Country Kitchen. This includes a wonderful selection of foods to suit all tastes and also caters for people with allergies or special requirements.


Guns

Guns must be kept in a cover or broken when not in use


Lost and Found

Children – We operate a Child Wristband system on the entrance gates. Please put your mobile number on your child’s wristband so that if you become separated from your child we can make contact with you quickly and reunite you.

Property – Please report lost property to the Control Bus overlooking the Main Ring. Please deposit any items found to the same place. 


Mobility Scooters

If you have a need to hire a Mobility Scooter on the day you can do so in advance. To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair please book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk

Please note that these will be available for collection from the Disabled Car Park which is clearly signposted on the approach to the showground.


Opening Times

The gates open from 9.00am. Events start at 9.15 a.m. 


Parking

All of our parking is free. Please follow the signs as you arrive close to the Showground and please park as instructed by our Parking Stewards.


Tickets

Tickets are available in advance and at the gate on the day of the fair. To buy online, click here. If you buy in advance online you save money and beat the queues! For every ticket purchased online we will make a 25p donation to the Great Western Air Ambulance.

Toilets

Toilets are located throughout the Showground and these are serviced during the day so you will find them clean and tidy. Should one of the loos be less than satisfactory please do report this to the Control Bus and we will endeavour to rectify the situation.

Disabled toilets – these are located near to Park Gate entrance, North end of Frampton Court, and near to South Catering. We also have the Mobiloo attending which is equipped with a hoist and an adult changing bench which is located adjacent to the Patron’s Tent.

Mobiloo – A Mobiloo will be available with a hoist, adult sized changing bench and everything else you’d expect to find in a fully accessible toilet. This will be located adjacent to the Patron’s Tent, on the South side of the Main Ring.


Traders

If you are interested in joining Frampton Country Fair as a Trader, please send details and images of your products alongside a link to your website if you have one. Please email these to us at info@framptoncountryfair.co.uk

Please note that we cannot accept every application and we choose our Traders very carefully. We also minimise competition for our existing Traders where practical whilst at the same time maximising variety for our visitors.


Vet

Should you (or more likely your pet) require it, we have the services of 2 vets on the Showground, both a small animal vet and an equine vet. Please come to the Control Bus if in need.


Water

There are four water points on the Showgound. These are clearly signed on the Showground maps and in the middle pages of the Showguide.
